KAY CALLAHAN ASSOCIATES REAL ESTATE was established in the early 70's by Kay Callahan, and has been serving the commnity, continuously, for 30 years.
The company started out with a small home office on Preston Street in Ridgefield Park, where customers would sit on the front steps, waiting their turn to see a sales associate. Back in the 70's, the average sales price on a one family home was $30,000. (My, how times have changed.)
The company moved from Preston Street to 217 Main Street where they shared office space with the Fleischman Insurance Agency. Needing even more space to service their customers, they purchased and renovated 162 Main Street (across from the Post Office) in 1979.
In the summer months, passers by will often see the familiar faces of the sales staff sitting on the front porch of the office, with their coffee in hand and telephone nearby.
Kay Callahan Associates has a reputation based on Integrity, Personalized Service and Satisfied Customers. It is the only Real Estate office in the area that has been serving the community's Real Estate needs, supporting local charities and team sports for over 30 years.

Mary Romme, Broker/Owner, has lived in RP most of her life and has been with Kay Callahan Assocciates since day "1" {she is the daughter of founder, Kay Callahan} Along with running her very active Real Estate business, Mary is an officer in the Ridgefield Park Business Association and a member of the Ridgefield Park Historic Preservation Commission.

Tim LaTour, ABR, e-Pro, Sales Associate, 2001 thru 2006 Circle of Excellence - Silver. A well know name and face in the area - Tim is a retired Police Officer. He, and his family, have been serving the community on the Fire Department, Ambulance Corps and Police Force for over 75 years.

Mark Romme, Sales Associate, is the most recent Realtor to join us. Mark is the third generation Callahan serving the community's Real Estate needs. Mark presently is living in Oakland with his wife, Holly, and three sons. He is looking forward to being a very active member of the firm, helping to keep us the #1 listing and selling Real Estate company serving our community.

Bill Martin, Sales Associate. Another retired Police Officer, Bill is now working to help people with their real estate needs. Bill has been a licensed sales agent since the 80's.

Cathy Cole, Sales Associate - licensed since 1996 and a 13 year RP resident. Cathy worked for many years as a Legal Secretary for a RP Law firm. Now, along with her real estate duties, Cathy assists in her husband's Ridgefield Park store, Office Works, Etc.

Donna Brennan, Sales Associate, has been a Realtor since 1989. Donna is a lifetime area resident and is presently living in Paramus with her husband and two children. Donna still manages to find time to assist friends, neighbors and new clients with their real estate needs.
